How to get to Taevaskoja?
Taevaskoja Holiday Centre is located in Põlva County, just 700 m from the Suur Taevaskoda sandstone outcrop. Slow down, wander in nature and enjoy time together with your team, class, family or friends!

By train
It is very convenient to come to Taevaskoja Holiday Centre by train, as our centre is just a 10-minute walk from the train station. You can travel directly by train from both Tallinn and Tartu.
If the programme includes a water trip or activities away from the holiday centre, local transport may also be needed. Let us know before you come if you are arriving by train, and we will find a suitable solution.
By bus
If you are coming with a larger team, class or youth camp group, the easiest option is to arrange shared transport. Travelling by bus, the whole group arrives at the same time and can get around the area together if needed.
Before arrival, we agree on the route, bus access and parking arrangements:
- where the bus can drive;
- where to stop or get off;
- which entrance is most convenient for your group.
This makes arrival easier for both guests and the organiser.
By car
Taevaskoja Holiday Centre is easy to reach by car from various places across South Estonia. It is one of the best options if you are visiting the area with a smaller group, team or family.
Although we are located in the middle of pristine nature and away from the bustle of the city, our location is easily accessible. Before setting off, we recommend checking the route in a map app and taking the season and weather conditions into account.
